Youth Curling Fun in Welland!

Four of our youth curlers hit the road to Welland to compete in the Banana Belt Funspiel last weekend!

The boys had a great time, showed awesome sportsmanship, and finished the event with a 1–1 record. They represented our centre well and had plenty of fun along the way!

Way to go, Daniel, Kelton, Owen and Seth — keep curling and keep smiling

WCC is brimming with pride today, as the WCI boys team finished tied for first, and have qualified for the 1 v 2 playoff game.

St. Mary’s CHS has also qualified for the playoffs by capturing 4th place.

Playoff schedule and location has not yet been announced.

We are pleased to be the new home of Peter Julian's sweater that he wore when the Woodstock team won the 1963 Silver Tankard Ontario Championship in the curling eights format.

Please take a minute sometime to take a look at this historic sweater and tray that is on display in our trophy cabinet.
